Primate

The artist of Primate, Sarah Oliver, uses watercolor techniques and ink to represent an image expressing the idea that we all are nothing by beast. The human, represented by a generic, calm and peaceful face is in conflict with the angry gorilla. This gorilla, hinted in ink, is trying to get out of us all. Oliver creates a background similar to that of earthy camouflage, representing the animal actions of of humans today.
